5 Ways To Lose Weight

One of the most interesting articles to read, perhaps for some who's been gaining weight or gained some ample amount of weight, is how to lose them. Of course. Who wouldn't ever want a good figure while staying healthy? I have found some good and natural ways to lose weight without having to sacrifice so much.

1. Chew Slowly.
When we get hungry, we tend to swallow a lot and chew less. Well, a study showed that people who eat their foods quickly are most likely to ingest 646 calories in nine minutes, while those who chew their foods for 15 to 20 times will mostly take in 579 calories in just 29 minutes.

2. Change your favorite soda to water.
If you can't stand a day without a soda, try exchanging it for a more healthy drink - WATER. In one study, people who prefer water over sweetened drinks would lose an average of five pounds.

3. Sleep early.
If you're up late at night to watch TV, I'd suggest you cut that kind of habit. Replacing an hour of inactivity can take 6% off  of calories. Night time eating can gain you 300 calories daily. By sleeping early, you get to avoid that temptation of eating.

4. Ward off that weight by walking.
Yes, you have to walk. And that I meant not only mere walking, you have to walk for 2,000 steps.

5. Jumping!
Another way to burn your excess weight is to do jumps. Do it at least 20 jumps for every five to 10 minutes.

Things You Neglect To Do But Are Extremely Important

With the busy schedule and fast pacing of our daily lives, we sometimes forget the essentials of our daily living. These things when frequently neglected may cause detrimental effects in our own selves. I thought of reinforcing this again because I think a lot of these daily necessities are being forgotten:

1. Always eat your breakfast. Many people are very much delved into their competitive jobs that eating breakfast can cost them minutes or hours of non-profit. Studies always show that people who eat their foods  in the morning are more energized, focused and weighs lesser.

2. Give some nutrients for your bones. That I meant, drink your milk or your calcium supplements daily.

3. Hydrate. I too, am guilty of this. It's a common knowledge to drink 8 glasses of water a day. However, with our busy schedules or we have other routines that we have to attend to, we forget to hydrate ourselves and would later on recognize that we need to give ourselves some refreshments when we are already thirsty. You lose fluid not only during urination or sweating, even when you're speaking you also lose some fluids and electrolytes.

4. Protect your skin. The scorching heat of the sun is way more painful than it was years before. I am not used to using sunscreens before, but now I have to put some because I am afraid of being burned and develop cancer later on.

5. Eat Vegetables. Never forget to have your own share of vegetables. Green, leafy for longer life and bright ones for antioxidants.

6. Floss. After I eat, I always floss. Plaques and leftovers that are hidden in between your teeth can be a ground for breeding of bacterias which will eventually cause you diseases. Gum diseases are thought to increase your risk of developing other illnesses like diabetes and heart diseases.
